Once upon a time a sexy, charming, hot British guy walked into my bar.
He was flirty and delicious, and we hit it off right away. So well in fact, that I'd have given him my number.
Except, fate decided to play a trick on me.
Since the guy turned out to be my brother's best friend, he was off limits.
So we made a pact to be just friends. And we became great friends.
It worked for a while.
Until the night we were snowed in...

*This prequel story of Jason and Truly was previously included in the original Instant Attraction edition that followed the tales of three different couples. That book is no longer available. However, the story of how Jason and Truly first met has been edited into Delayed Gratification, a story that NOW focuses entirely on that couple. I hope you enjoy this tantalizing introduction to their romance.*

One major dislike with Nook Books is when a book is downloaded, whether paid for or not, and the reader barely gets into it only to come to the end. Turnoff. A previous review speaks with in depth knowledge of characters, plot, etc. I don't understand how that is achieved in 30 or so pages.

3 stars I purchased a copy of the steamy novella Instant Attraction (Always Satisfied Book 1.5) by Lauren Blakely and this review was given freely. Short, incomplete, broken, disappointing and unsatisfying. Spenser narrates the broken delivery of three attraction at first site romances where hope for more quickly morphes to friendship but then veers to steamy but then ends just as things heat up. Each is a good short story but I would have enjoyed them more if the stories were not broken into sections. Recording studio manager Gavin's frustration with his mother's setting him up leads to a fake relationship with the coworker he is secretly attracted to, Savannah. Gin Joint's owner and bartender Truly finally finds someone she is attracted to only to be disappointed when she learns British advise blogger and Best Man For Hire Jason is her twin brother's friend. Manhattan billionaire Valerie thinks she has just met her match in the Spanish super model Enzo until she discover he is her media agency's newest spokesperson and 20 years her junior.
