About the Author
Aletia DuPree is a fresh new voice from the South. Born and raised in Georgia, her first book Deliciously Southern is the culmination of Aletia's decades of knowledge of Southern cooking that was inspired by four generations of genteel ladies of the South, who taught the author to cook and bake, including her great-grandmother, mother and aunt. Eventually that love and passion for Southern food led her into the restaurant business for over twenty one years. The former restaurateur is a speaker, cooking instructor and the editor of the online food blog Southern Life were she writes about the art of Southern hospitality, culture, and cuisine. Aletia lives with her family in Calhoun, Georgia.
