Poor girl can't get a break but it makes for a good read. Gotta go see what she's going to get into next.

Demons are not all evil, but all are definitely strange, quirky and at times very lovable! Another great book in the series

It ended after 104 pages abruptly I guess getting the first 3 free had me a little hooked then this purchase had me wanting even more. Storyline is good and I feel attached to the characters.

To short to be considered a novel. Not sure if it was worth the money. Story line was good though.

This series started slow but picked up speed and turned into a great read. Gave it a 4 star because of the slow start. Characters were pretty good together and there r some tense moments.

The fourth book in the Xoe series finds Xoe in trouble once again! This is teen angst times 100! Xoe now finds herself dealing with a bad demon who wants to wreck chaos on the earth realm. We find her developing more of a relationship with her father. We meet new characters - Xoe's grandmother, Josie and Dorrie which are woven in nicely and add depth to several characters. This is a great series and I can't wait for more books. I never want this series to end!!!

These stories are pretty good. It is quick and suspenseful enough to keep your attention through all 4 books. The beginning of the first book was a little rocky, the transition from a "normal life" to one filled with demons and werewolves and such needed maybe more build up, or time to sink in- it just felt pretty implausible the way things went down. It is definitely a YA book. The story and telling are pretty simple, though every once in a while a random word or two that were way too big for the character's vocabulary would pop up. I highlighted a good deal of editing/proofing mistakes. Missing periods and other punctuation, missed incorrect homophones and the like, which pretty effectively pulled me from the story each time. All that being said, I wanted to keep reading at the end of book 4. This could be that each book is only about 100 pages, so they go by fast. The writing starts to greatly improve towards the end. Would love to just see a little more development of the original book one story, maybe even a little more background or something to help us not only understand the characters reactions to their situation, but to also get some history so we care about these characters and what is happening to them. For me, I almost put it down about 3 chapters in because of everything above, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I am excited to see if more come out.
