Overview

Feeling sad, anxious, hopeless or depressed is mystifying because there seems to be so many confusing explanations for what is causing a person to feel so bad. Instant "cures" are promised by a host of supposed experts touting everything from vitamins and herbs to positive thinking. It is no wonder that people are bewildered.

Let's be perfectly honest: there is no one simple explanation for every hurting person, but the good news is there are reliable medical insights that can provide hope for genuine healing and restoration.
