Robert Link, an ex-government assassin now assigned to a white-collar crime unit, is recruited by the first black female U. S. Senator to investigate reports of rape, beatings, and arson in her home town. This is the second book in the Robert Link thriller series and serves as a prequel to "The Syndicate's Church." This novel, "Deniable Justice," provides many clues to the background, motivations, and the "Link connection" for the supporting characters, Debbie, Rich, Ortiz, the Countess, and the Senator.
