Paul Kidd brings to life another classic Dungeons & Dragons(r) adventure! The ranger and the faerie are back! Fresh from their encounter in White Plume Mountain, the Justicar and Escalla head off to Hommlet. But life around a faerie is never exactly . . . stable. Escalla is drawn into the intrigues of the Seelie court. Before he knows it, to save her life the Justicar is on his way into the depths of the earth to fight hobgoblins, drow, and the Queen of the Demonweb Pits. For an adventurer, it's all in a day's work.

This was a good, fun read. I don't know much about the D&D module it's based on but that didn't affect my enjoyment of the book. Both this book and the previous one, Under White Plume Mountain, are enjoyable books and good for younger (teen) readers or anyone who just wants some light entertainment.

I loved the book! It lored me into it as soon as I began to read. Filled with fantasy, suspence, mystery, and lots of action, it was certianly the best book I have ever read. I can't wait to read the rest of his work.
