Desert Fire by Karen Whiddon

When Summer Shaw leaves Houston and her old life behind to live on the New Mexico ranch she's inherited, she's determined to make it work. Even though the only thing she knows about ranching comes from books. The ruggedly handsome rancher next door is sexy as hell, and when she learns he's the author of her favorite book on how to be a rancher, she thinks she's in heaven. An added bonus is the way he makes her desire burn hotter than the desert sun.

Rancher Gabe Martin has long dreamed of owning the neighboring spread, until Summer showed up with a copy of his book on ranching in hand. And now she expects him to show her the ropes? Her vulnerable beauty makes the offer tempting, but falling for a city woman is out of the question.

Unless Summer teaches him a few lessons of her own and they manage to make both their dreams come true.

This book had the potental to be a good read but stopped short. Written too quickly and needed more editing. Not only did the lead character not know anything about ranching or horses neither did the author. In addition to detail editing it badly needed spelling corrections. This is a common f fault in ebooks but an extremely annoying one.
