This book is dedicated to teaching you the basic rules of design as well as how to break those rules if you're going for an unusual effect. I found the first two sections, which offer more concrete advice and examples about design composition and components, more useful than the third section, which was about "concept." Overall, though, I was very impressed with this book and found immediate application for the tips and advice contained in it.
