Designed, No Less is the story of Keith, our special-needs son. Keith's life has been a marvelous journey from infancy to adulthood, one we were not initially prepared to take or would have chosen. But looking back, it is a path we would not have wanted to miss, for we have seen firsthand the marvelous Providence of God in the face of infirmity, in the life of our son. We hope that our experiences and observations in raising Keith will encourage and prepare young parents in similar circumstances, that they too will witness the unmerited, unforeseen, yet undeniably magnanimous love, grace, and faithfulness of God that has a way of bursting upon dark, difficult paths when least expected.

About the Author

Dr. Kenneth Laudermilch is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College (BS in music education), the New England Conservatory of Music (MM), and the Catholic University (DMA). He has served as professor of instrumental music at West Chester University, Principal Trumpet of the Delaware Symphony, and as a regular substitute with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Currently he is principal trumpet with the Westminster Brass and the music director of the New Holland Band, second oldest municipal band in the USA. Dr. Laudermilch is also the author of An Understandable Approach to Musical Expression published by Meredith Music and distributed by Hal Leonard.
Kenneth resides in New Holland, PA, with his lovely wife of more than fifty years, Nancy. Together they have experienced the abundant blessings and joy in the Lord as they raised their son Keith and daughter Sara.
