I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. 'Desire Unmatched' by Lynne Silver is book four in the "Coded for Love Book" series. This is the story of Xander Bristack and Emma Harrison. This can be read as a standalone book but this has been a great serires and it does revieference some things in ohter books....so you might want to think about reading the others. Xander is part of the generic built lethal soldier group. Xander feels with his background and generic background he will never love anyone. Xander was part of the team that helped save Emma when she was taken to possible be used as a DNA match for one of the generic built soldiers to bread children. Which her DNA matches Xander and she is attracted to him. When she was first rescued by him he held her and kissed her and made her feel safe. Now he tries to avoid her and run from her. But when Xander is kidnapped and hurt she decided to not leave his side. I did enjoy Xander and how he was fighting his feelings and sometimes it seemed at a loss of what to do. This was a great book to read!

ARC received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I started this series with this book and I wasn't too lost so you can read this as a standalone but I do wish I had started with book one since you have couples from the previous books. Despite not starting at book one, I still enjoyed this story. I wasn't too sure how I felt about this couple at first, probably do to lack of info I would have gotten in previous books, however, the more I read the more I liked Xander and Emma. Xander is one of the program soldiers who was raised by a program soldier. Due to his fathers over controlling hand, Xander was more machine than human to others. What they didn't know was that his fathers hold on him was so strong, he knew no other way in life. Emma was held captive by a geneticist who is trying to build their own program soldiers for terrorist. Xander was on of the soldiers who rescued her. Part of the information I'm missing is that somehow these soldiers have a way of "matching" with a female to produce future soldiers and Emma is Xander's match. The only problem is Xander doesn't want kids because he knows how his father will take over their lives and he doesn't want that for them. Being Xander's match, Emma feels the strong connection and is determined to break down his walls and accept her. Being a fan of strong Alpha's I never thought I would enjoy a story where the heroine has to lead the Hero because of his lack of basic human relationships. Surprisingly, this is what ultimately made me love Xander and Emma's story. It was also a nice change to read about a man who played no games and just said what he meant which meant Emma could do the same. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Xander is the Programs coldest and most lethal soldier, however when he is kidnapped he will need all of his skills to survive the torture he endures. The thought of having one night with Emma is the one thing that keeps him going but will one night be enough? I was hooked from beginning to end. The chemistry between Emma and Xander is of the charts hot. The suspense and drama held my interest throughout and the sex is steamy. This series gets more exciting with each book.

Emma was twenty four and had been locked away in Paulson’s clinic an unwilling recipient of fertility experiments for three months. Then a rescue team had came with Xander who was thirty on it and freed her. Xander at the time had been supportive, and wonderful. But now when Emma tried to talk to Xander it was like talking to a wall. Xander had hugged her and held her hand refusing to let her be alone for the first twenty four hours of freedom. But now….. Even when Emma brought up the fact they were likely a DNA match. Then Xander goes missing and Loren - Emma’s best friend in the compound believes it’s Paulson who kidnapped Xander like he had previously Emma. Excellent story I loved it. Xander had went through as a child and an adult both him and his mother had enough when he tried to hurt Emma . I wonder how Xander father was considered such a good soldier anyway. Xander changed after being kidnapped and brought back home and all for the better. Loved the drama and action in this story. Loved the characters in this story especially Xander and Emma and all they went through. I highly recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

Title: Desire Unmatched - Coded for Love 4 Author: Lynne Silver Published: 5-2-2016 Publisher: Beyond the Page Publishing Pages: ? Genre: Contemporary Fiction Sub Genre: Military; Suspense ISBN: 9781940846859 ASIN: B01F27133S Reviewer: DelAnne Reviewed For: NetGalley My Rating: 5 Stars . The Program: an organization of elite soldiers with superior strength, agility, and intellect. These men put their lives on the line to execute the government’s most dangerous missions. Xander Bristack aka Terminator is known as the coldest, most lethal soldier in the program is close to know one. He trains from rising to end of the day and has no plans of ever finding a match. He has no desire to take on a family. Emma Harrison was rescued when the elite soldiers went and rescued Dr. Samara Jones and her son, Luca were saved from Dr. Paulson's secret Lab where they were being held captive. Even after all she endured in captivity she finds herself drawn to the taciturn Soldier. After a very brief encounter after which Xander avoids Emma. Then Xander is captured by Paulson and a group of Terrorist. Tortured and starved Xander knows time is running out and as no one knows where he is it up to him to get himself out and to safety. Emma lives day to day trying to get through each until Xander is once again safe. She also begins to see what she is up against to win Xander's heart when she meets his father. This to me is the best book in the series so far. The suspense and tension will keep you on the edge of your seat. I thought I would read the brief excerpt at the end of book 3, Conquered Match to see what would happen next and found the two chapter excerpt was not enough. The love scenes are so hot the burn off the pages. Xander and Emma are wonderful characters. Each strong in their own way. One thing you will clap over is the scene involving Emma and Xander's parents. I just wanted to cheer. This is the fourth book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone with very little trouble. Don't miss this wonderful book or any of the series. If you like Christine Feehan's Game series you will love this series as well. My rating is 5 out of 5 stars.
