His second novel, The communications Gap will be available at book stores and e-books soon. An audio version of the Potentate is in the works. Short Summary Rufus T. Breckenridge III, an easygoing yet disciplined cowboy in the 1880s and '90s, is drawn from Reno to a small town in Arkansas by what he believes is divine intervention. On the way he has a number of mysterious adventures, and finally confronts an old Indian who is conducting a sacred ceremony on hallowed ground. Despite their differences, they throw in together and follow a course toward the strangest adventure of all. One morning they come upon a small town in the middle of nowhere. The town is an experiment of the oddest kind – and despite the protests of the towns people the experiment is about to be terminated. Moonshiners, cannibals, a crooked mayor and an unusual city council all play a role in the inevitable showdown with The Potentate of Walking Horse.
