They have defeated evil and now graduated high school. Just when Gabriella and Darron think their life will be normal a relative from the past shows up and changes all that. Gabriella's Aunt Donna shows up needing their help in saving her daughter from the Dark Coven. The girl just may be the key to destroying the mortal world. As they race to save not only her but all mortals they may just face their biggest challenge yet. Just when you think the coven has faced big enough challenges in the first book you find they are about to face even bigger ones. Gabriella and Darron love each other and you really see just how much in this second book. They will do whatever it takes to be with each other.  You also get to see just how close of friendship they have with the other members of their coven. They truly are a family and it shows in every scene. They all have each others back as they face danger and may just not make it out a live. Besides love and friendship you get to see lots of magical action. They have to face all kinds of scenes and try to keep it hidden from the mortals. I will say this book has several twist and turns that you don't see coming. The surprises will leave you shocked as they changed everything the group knows. There is heartache betrayal and so much more in this wonderful book. If you enjoyed he first one you will love this book as you learn so much more. Recommended to any fan of books with witches, magic and so much more.

I was given a copy of Destiny Unveiled by Laura DeLuca in exchange for an honest review. This is book 2 in the series Destiny is the first book I would highly recommend reading it before this one so you can really understand the growth that each one of the kids have done in the name of love and friendship. Each one showed great strength in a time of need and continued to show their loyalty when a crisis came into light. Both books have very beautiful covers that without knowing what the books were about I would buy just on beauty alone. Poor Gabrielle is given shock after shock in her life just when she thought she knows who she is another whammy is dealt to her. The happiness that she is given when Monte and his Mom joins her family legally not just on spirituality. They gain some new people to her family but are they to be trusted or given second and third choices just based on biology. I hope their is more in this series so that we can continue this amazing and fantastic journey. Laura did a excellent job in flowing book one into book two it was done with care and grace. Thank you so much for this fast paced and entertaining story.

So I realized why I couldn’t really get into the first book Destiny…it was because it DeLuca was setting up the readers for the second book (or at least that is what I think.) In Destiny Unveiled, you learn so much more about the characters that were introduced in book one. I found that I felt more of an emotional connection between Gabby and Darron not only with their characters in the book but my connection with the characters as well. To me, the characters were real people this time around; you got to know a lot more about them. Plus, there was a ton more action and drama throughout the plot. Life did not become all sugar and spice once Richard was defeated in Destiny. In fact, that was the least hardest thing that DeLuca has put these characters through. I applaud DeLuca for bringing in so many twists and turn into a book without it being too much for a reader to handle. It was a steady read of ‘oh, that just happened,’ ‘oh, my!’ and ‘I didn’t see that coming.’ ~BookWhisperer Reviewer MC~

Author Laura DeLuca is one of the best Sci-Fi, Romance, Thriller, Witchy. . . Well, hell, you name it, she can write it! I am so honored to be friends with such a blessed and gifted author! She truly has a talent that is hard to come by these days. Reading a book is amazing, being drawn into their world, their lives, etc. is SPECTACULAR! I am an avid reader, and I cannot imagine a day where a good book is hard to find! Destiny was fantastic, I thought, there is no way to top this! Boy, was I wrong! Destiny Unveiled, threw me for more than one loop during the duration of my reading adventure! Darron and Gabby were thrown to and fro, not just in their relationships with friends and family, but with their inner selves as well! I said it before, being a teen is hard enough, being a teen witch? Holy Moses man! I am refusing to go too in depth here, as I don't' want to give ANYTHING away about this book, but all I can say is, your jaw will HIT THE GROUND when you realize what is being unveiled, and how it's going to happen! I kept shaking my head, saying to myself, "this can't get any better." Only to be proven desperately wrong at every turn! I laughed at Flora and her mostly inappropriate and horribly times comments. I cried with Gabby struggling to do what she thought was right where family was concerned. I pleaded with Darron to make better choices. And was heartbroken at times for Monte, and rejoiced at his humor and strength. The bad guys were just that, BAD! And then one or two of those bad guys made sacrifices that didn't make them seem so horrible! This book definitely pulls at your heart strings and makes you feel like you're right there with Gabby in Miami, struggling for life, justice, and humanity. I promise that by reading both Destiny and Destiny Unveiled, you will not go wrong! I cannot wait to finish Phantom by Laura DeLuca also! I am hooked! A lifetime fan, who has the privilege of being friends with this wonderful person and author!

In “Destiny Unveiled” we learn more about Darron and Gabriella and their families and friends. Their powers grow as they continue to fight against the forces of evil who want to harm them and take their powers. Major twist and turns ensue like a roller coaster ride of fun. I gasped, laughed, cried, gasped some more; basically ran the gamut. That’s how you know it’s a good book. This series has a little bit of everything for everyone. There is fantasy, adventure, mystery, intrigue, romance, sex (okay only a little and it’s totally PG), and just fun. Oh, and I forgot to mention the totally hot men. So a couple of them are gay, they are still hot and not all of them are gay. And for the men, gorgeous women. Hmmm, did I mention the hot men?? I give these stories a definite 5 out of 5 clouds. The perfect summer (or winter) read. This product or book may have been distributed for review; this in no way affects my opinions or reviews.
