I had the great joy of getting to read book 1, Rewinder, and then getting to jump right into Destroyer, within minutes. I have loved time travel books since I read The Man Who Folded Himself back in the '70's. The only other book that was close to these was The Time Traveler's Wife. This series is action packed and I was totally unable to put it down. The story could have ended with Rewinder as there was a definite ending to it. Destroyer leaves you with more of a cliffhanger that will leave you anticipating at least one more book in this series. This book is also an alternate history dystopian and has just a touch of romance. You totally need to have read book 1 to enjoy this book (which was fabulous). It's a relatively quick read at only 252 pages, so just the right size for YA readers.
