Deuce Delaney is a fast paced thriller that I could not put down.  The criminal justice aspects of the book extremely accurate.  I  would recommend this book to both teens and adults  alike.  It  is a well written story that will keep you  on pins and needles from beginning to end.  Read this book!  You will be glad you did.  Brent Robinson, First Assistant Richland County Prosecutor.

His real name is Mansfield Stone, but he thinks it's a pansy name. "So I go by an alias - Deuce Delaney. I named myself after the deuce in a deck of cards because we always make deuces wild when we play Poker. I'm a wild card." Deuce's favorites are Sea Hunt, his Scorpion named Sting, his buddy, Arcudy, playing pranks, and avoiding work as much as possible. As told from this 13 year old wild card's perspective, the author uses history, an intricate plot and intense scenes to the surprising end. When Deuce and Arcudy finally stand before a Judge they are told to stay away from one another. Deuce's parents hope their son has finally learned that his bad behavior has consequences. But when lonely, crestfallen, dejected Deuce makes a new friend, he learns that sometimes trouble has deadly consequences.
