Never expected by the title how this story would come together. I read in one sitting. I could not put it down. Excellent!!!
Detective Shevaughn Robinson is back in this third book in the Deck of Cardz series. She is now married and is expecting a baby, but that isn't going to stop her from working on the new case of the "Fingertip Killers". She is supposed to go on maternity leave, but they need her. Her husband isn't too happy about her working and checks up on her to see if he is at her desk or not. The fingertip killers are some sick people. You won't believe what they do to their victims, then they cut off their fingertips and save them. You will meet Doll. What she does on page 37 of this book is just beyond sick. I don't want to give anything away in this book, but this book is awesome. There is sex, murder and a lot of suspense. If you like to read James Patterson, try this series because you will love it! Jean Holloway is definitely a very gifted writer and I highly recommend her books! I purchased this signed book from Jean Holloway! She also included a Ace of Hearts bookmark which I think is so cool!
