Weddings are hell…
After a month of planning not one, but two, demonic weddings, all Faith Bettincourt—the youngest Crown Princess of Hell—wants is to spend some quality time with her angelic boyfriend, Matt. But when a ghost from Matt's past walks through Faith's apartment door, her preoccupation with the weddings from Hell is all that's keeping her from turning his ex, in all her devious angelic glory, into a down throw pillow.
Which is about when Matt's zealous mother declares war on Faith's family.
Now Faith will stop at nothing to stop the craziness and make sure the impending nuptials go off without a hitch. All she's got to do is rescue one of the grooms and go up against an army of so-called do-gooders, and everything will go back to normal. Or as normal as it can be where the Devil's spawn is concerned. With any luck, she might just be able to resuscitate her love life while she's at it.

About the Author
Patricia Eimer is a small town girl who was blessed with a large tree in the backyard that was a perfect spot for reading on summer days. Mixed with too much imagination it made her a bratty child but fated her to become a storyteller. After a stint of "thinking practically" in her twenties she earned degrees in Business and Economics and worked for a software firm in southwestern Germany but her passion has always been a good book. She currently lives in Pittsburgh with her two wonderful kids and a husband that learned the gourmet art of frozen pizzas to give her more time to write. When she's not writing she can be found fencing and arguing with her dogs about plot points. Most days the Beagle wins but the Dalmatian is in close second. She's in a distant third.

This is a sort of romance - the romance with a HEA all happens in the background. The players are all very important to both Faith and Matt, but they are definitely not the main attraction. Faith and Matt are center stage with another angelic/demonic "incident", and it's tearing them apart. When Matt's ex-girlfriend shows up at their door wanting to get him back - Faith tries to handle it well, but it all backfires horribly. To top it all off Faith's ex-boyfriend is also in town and her brother was demon-napped just days before his wedding to her best friend. Sounds like a lot to handle, but it's just the tip of the iceberg. Matt and Faith's love for each other will really be put to the test - time and time again. This has a much more urban fantasy feel to it, but there are two HEA's involved, so it could be called a romance as well. I loved continuing the story of these two hilarious families who seem to be constantly wrapped up in some sort of disaster. Lots of very humorous situations again that had be grinning through the pages. Still loving this series.
I do believe you need to read the first book to enjoy this one. I cant wait until the next one to see what happens next.
Faith Bettincort, the youngest daughter of the devil had her hands full. Not only was her best friend about to marry Faith's brother, but Faith's mother was going to marry her father The Devil. As if she didn't have enough to take care of, Faith's angelic boyfriend Matt's ex came into the picture. Matt's ex brought more problems than they could imagine and that was when all of their lives start spinning out of control. I enjoyed this book. I read the first in the series and this book picked up where the other left off. I do feel it could be a stand alone, but I would recommend reading in order. I wish the end left us more satisfied, but I was glad to see the author has another book in the works so Faith's story was not over. Watch for the 3rd installment of the SPEAK OF THE DEVIL series, Before The Devil Knows Your Dead coming soon. Check out our review for Luck Of The Devil. A good read. This book was just okay. I don't really know what didn't catch with me. It could be that I didn't read the first book and I didn't feel as invested into the characters as I would have been if I had read it. I found Faith to be a bit annoying at times and other times hilarious. I sort of thought she would be a bit more devilish I guess with being a demon and the devil's daughter. She was too good to be a demon. Especially when Matt's ex fiancé stepped into the picture. I don't know how many people who would invite their current boyfriend's ex to stay with them. It made for some funny scenes but I would have killed her as soon as she said she was here to get Matt back. I'm pretty sure that's why I couldn't write a good story. I would kill off all the characters that came between me and my HEA. All in all I liked just not crazy in love with it
