The need for this was not driven by being a diabetic. The recipe's are good and also good for you. My family needed to reduce the overall sugar in our diet along with different ways of adding good fruits,vetables and fish to our diets daily. This is a good way to do that with alot of good information about food and the way to prepare it. Also what you need in your pantry to accomplish this. There are alot of recipe's to choose from with a wide range.
