I didn't read the other reviews before purchasing this nook version. The measurements of the left hand column of ingredients are missing so the recipe will tell me to use flour, blueberries, etc, but not how much flour, blueberries. A formatting problem for some of us nook users, unfortunately. Too bad because the recipes looked very useful and tasty! So one star rating from me...not for the recipes but the way it was formatted.

I don't know what these two reviewers were talking about, and neither do they.  One complained that they couldn't see all of the recipe on the page, referring to the book and not the Nook version,  The other one can't have seen the actual cookbook in either form.

Lot's of good information and a variety of recipes for a person newly diagnosed with diabetes. We have enjoyed all of the recipes we have tried so far. I like the photos and explanations.

Great nook book. Many easy to follow recipes and helpful hints re: best food choices. Not just for those with diabetes. These great recipes and helpful hints will benefit anyone, especially those looking to manage their carbohydrate intake. Nutritional information and color pictures for each dish is provided. Would highly recommend this book. I don't know what some of the reviewers were talking about re: not being able to see the recipes. Everything loads completely onto the nook device. There are links within the index that need to be clicked to take you to the recipe. Over 350 pages!

I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I purchased a hardcopy of this book at a flea market. I have cooked a few recipes from this book and have enjoyed them all, especially the lasagna. I love the organization of this book. This is a great cookbook and tool for helping one learn how to live as a PWD.
