Just a warning, Folks..... The info in this book has NOT been updated since 1984. There is a lot of missing information. Plenty of food has been added to grocery store shelves since this publication came into being. I do not recomend this book.
This was a good book, and much needed,at the time of publication. However, manufactures routinely change recipes and ingredients, which may affect exchange values. Also many of the brands or items in this book are no longer available. I purchased this book, discovered it is out of date, and my CDE (certified diabetic educator) wanted me to check with the ADA for a more current guide. Because this is a good book for it's type, my recommendation is that the authors publish a revised editon.
