Diagon 2 - the house of Elizabeth Gass by Jennifer Meier

After moving to a new country, Nicki has finally found happiness, but that peace seems destined to be drowned under the rage of a long dead man.

Growing up amongst the superstitious Irish, Nicki is used to tales of Ghosts and otherworld creatures, but nothing prepared her for what was waiting on her within the walls of her newly bought home. She had long ago fallen into the arms of traditional Witchcraft, and only her belief in the world of magic and Ghosts keeps her sane while she tries to come to terms with her childhood fear and solve the riddle that has been placed upon her shoulders.

Whimsy stood in horror, his eyes clouded. I heard a noise, and the door click open, Wooder standed there, eyes in red slits. "Wanna ruin my fun?" He slid his wing forward to show Daisy. Nothing had happened; Daisy was there, against the wall. She cowered as she saw me, but Wooder turned his wing back. "Well. Don't need to be costumed anymore, eh?" He blew a fireball at his wings, revealing the purple wings and his back body. The dragon grew; Whimsy gasped and shouted, "DYNISTAR!" With that Daisy screamed. I shuddered. Dynistar was worse than anyone. Worse than Voldemort from Harry Potter, worse than Elmo from Elmo's World, worse than any living thing. And considering he was a dragon, it was worse than any nightmare. He aimed a fireball at Whimsy, who ducked and shot one hurling back. "Give up!" He sneered. "Or she goes." It was too late. There was no 'give up'. He wheeled around, and he faced Daisy. "Time to say bye!" He sneered. He sent a pretty weak DeathBall hurling at Daisy, and she returned the favor by sending a MirrorBall. The spell hit him. He roared and fell to the ground. "Is he dead?" Daisy asked, tears welling at her eyes. "No, but we're not safe." Whimsy looked frighten as he waved his wing at the mountain. "Pack. Not very much. Then meet me at the border." He moved his trembling wings at the border. I nodded and after a moment, Daisy nodded gingerly. "It's not like we have a choice." She cried. She stared packing some neccesities. We all went home to pack. I'm not safe in my own town, I thought bitterly. ***** Will they get away? Will Dynastar wakes up first? Next part at the next res. ~SKY
