Interesting mystery. Plot was a bit odd. A little nano technology goes a long way. I think one of the reviewers on this page wrote about a different book, not Diamonds in the Desert as the review had nothing in it about this story. Well written. I lok forward to more books from this author. Well worth the time if you like mysteries with a dash of sci fi.

Decent read. Uses a lot of high tech terms to make a semi-plausible near future world. An okay detective story.

560 pages, a bit too many font and reader errors but i got through it with a lot of patience. Not my usual choice for a read.

A large hole in the ground with a dirt ramp leading down to a cool cave and a large pool in it. The pool water reflects blue and green on the walls. Little sand shelves in the wall hold all the herbs. Two tunnels each leading to a cave serves as the dens for med cat and med cat apprentice.
