If one has been unable to ever experience a live Rush concert performance, this album, as did 'All the World's A Stage', 'Exit Stage Left' and 'A Show of Hands', will greatly affect one's appreciation for this band.

This 3 cd set may not include a few favorites due to it being their fourth live album. Saying that though I will say that some of the lesser known songs recorded live makes up for it. Bravado, Dreamline, Driven and Animate are all awesome live and you still get classics such as Limelight, Spirit of Radio and the full version of 2112. They also throw in the bonus cd from the 70's with Working Man, Xanadu and Cygnus X1. This compilation will expand your horizons and give you insight to the greatest live band ever!

This live concert based disc placed me back to every concert i've attended from the beginning to the encore. It left me wanting much more. The third disc from Hammersmith is the best of all and the drum solo is the best Neil Peart has composed to date. Lets pray for Peart as he copes with the loss of his daughter and his wife and hope he puts his thoughts in his music. I don't know how they can top this one.

Excellent live album. The 1st two discs are from the T4E and Counterparts tours. I especially enjoyed the long epic ''2112''. The 3rd disc is from '78 in London. Outstanding tracks on it are ''Xanadu'', ''By-Tor and the Snow Dog'' which is cut short, and ''Cygnus X-1''.

TRUE TO FORM RUSHS' POWERFUL SOUL IS REVEALED BY AN UNMATCHED LYRICAL STYLE, AND MAGICAL MUSICAL VOICE. STILL AWSOME AFTER 25 PLUS YEARS.

I did not really start listening to Rush until the last year or so, but after purchasing Different Stages I am addicted. I now have more music by Rush in my collection than any other artist, and I plan to add more. The live version of Closer to the Heart is just awesome and I think I've done permanent damage to my fingers while listening to The Rythm Method in the car. I really hope the band will tour again so that I can go to my first live concert.

I've Followed Rush for 23 years now and all I can say is that they improved with age from one live album to the other. I really wonder what can they possibly do after an album like that. They give the meaning of music new unexplainable and unexplored horizons. God bless them and I hope they will still entertain us for another 25 years, because I am sure they will still leave me in awe.
