About the Author

Jan Dunlap is a writer, teacher, birdwatcher and mother of five children. A former Army brat, she currently makes her home in Minnesota while she devises plot twists in her Bob White Birder Murder Mystery series and teaches English as an online college instructor. Her first novel in the series, The Boreal Owl Murder was named a finalist in the 2008 Midwest Book Awards and the 2008 Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards, and was nominated for the 2008 Minnesota Book Awards.
