How much of a relationship problem is there in keeping a secret? Cleopatra Jones has a life full of fun, family, and solving her friend’s alleged crimes. Being an accountant by day and sleuth by night is starting to get on Cleo’s last nerve, but no one is going to take a friend of hers and build a case against them. Love may make you blind but it does not leave without the ability to ask the right questions. This time her boyfriend, Rafe is under the spotlight and Cleo is having a hard time getting him to take this seriously. A friend and former lover is murdered after a quick visit from Rafe where all arrows point to his motive. Rafe has always been secretive about his past, family, and life before he met Cleo, but regardless of what he is not saying she knows he is innocent. The stress may getting to Cleo on this one because Rafe is not cooperating, his family turns out to be a loaded mess, her ex-husband wants to reconcile seeing Rafe as the roadblock and always being the strong one is wearing Cleo down.
