I'm picky about my romance novels. I research them and choose wisely I don't like reading the same type of stuff over and over again. Belle books are always captivating action packed and dark with just the right amount of sex and raunch.

Raw absolutely blew me away and I was really excited to see this book. However it lacked the punch that Raw did. Not to say that it wasn't good because it was. I just think it was missing the emotional connections that Raw had. I was also disappointed at the end that we never got Alejandra's POV again. Without that it just felt incomplete to me. Overall all though I enjoyed the book and will continue to read any and all books by this author.

It was a great read. It had great characters and a story line full of action and drama. It will grab your interest and keep you reading. Your never sure what will happen next.

I have waited two years for more Twitch and finally got my itch for more of Twitch's story scratched with Dirty. Raw has been my favorite mafia book. Twitch was my first drug dealing mafia book boyfriend and believe me he is so worth the wait. Dirty is now my second favorite mafia book. Belle Aurora gives us more story of the people in Twitch's life and Dirty is so freaking good and what a mafia book is all about. I had a few choice words for the ending and I have yet to get my fill of Twitch. All I can say is I am ready for the next book. Happy Reading Everyone!!!

Belle gave me another book hangover with this installment of RAW family #2. I read this book with my mouth hung open almost the entire time. Wow, this book is good and well worth the wait and of course, she has my mouth watering for the next installment... BRAVO!!

** Review by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under ** As a reader I have been waiting so very patiently for this instalment of the Raw Family. It’s been long awaited, and finally….finally I got my fix. And my review…. There will be no teasers. There will be no little intro into what it’s about. There will be not much of anything really. And my reasons…. There is no way that I would want to ruin it for anybody wanting to read Dirty…. Dirty needs to be read without teasers, intros or hints. Because what will you discover in Dirty is simply mind blowing. But I will say this…. Dirty is nothing short of absolute sheer perfection. Raw, gritty, dark, stomach turning. Heartbreaking, breathtaking. Gruesome, detailed, ugly, beautiful. They are only just a few words that I can give you to explain what I felt with every page I turned. I was captivated from the prologue, putting it down was never an option. The story line….Perfect. The detail….Deep. The characters….Complex. The emotion….Consuming. The twists….Explosive. Dirty….Unique. Dirty in its own right is one of the best novels for 2016 that will stay with me always. For me it deserves so much more than 5 stars, because it feels almost criminal to rate uniquenesss and pure genius. So in short….People you need to read this….Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.

It's a pretty safe bet that most readers (like me) left hanging & shedding tears at the end of Raw are anxious to get their hands on this sequel, Dirty. Everyone needs/wants/deserves more TWITCH! He was/is just one of those once in a blue moon characters that captures readers hearts and leaves them crying for more - needing closure in the form of a hea for Twitch & Lexi. Lord knows, I'm one of them! I'm going to say up front that I will not discuss any part of the story that may or may not involve Twitch in this review. To do so would spoil this book for too many readers who deserve to experience this ride on their own. Dirty is an intriguing, tightly woven story involving two mob families that seal an alliance between them by forcing a marriage between Alejandra (Ana) Castillo and Dino Gambino. A reluctant, innocent Ana, an eighteen year old who has been protected all her life by her father & brothers, does her family duty with fear & trepidation . . . and is pleasantly surprised when her marriage turns into a fairy tale with an attentive, loving Dino. But then - something happens causing the other shoe to drop, and Ana's life turns into one horrid, abusive nightmare with no end in sight. Until - one day (six years later) when two strangers attend a meeting between the Castillo's & Gambino's, and she meets Julius Carter and his partner, Ling . . . and suddenly discovers her way out. Ana commits an ultimate sin among mob families and then escapes - alone & on the run. It's now Julius's job to find and return her to face certain death as mob justice demands "an eye for an eye". Her family will do nothing to save her. As this story plays out, several plot lines intertwine with the main one involving Ana, Julius, and Ling. Most will remember Ling from Raw - she is an extremely damaged, dangerous, and obsessive woman/killer who resents Ana's presence between her & Julius. I will say she is one of the best written characters in this story as I found myself swaying back & forth between sympathy, like, and hate for her. She plays a major role as this story nears the end. I found Dirty to be an intriguing, brutal, raw, gut-wrenching read where it all comes down to survival - both lives & hearts depend upon it. Definitely not for the weak of heart, note the blood splattered all over Julius's shirt on the book cover and beware that this is a gory read. While I can't say that every aspect of the book worked for me, I can say I found it hard to put down, especially near the end. There are a couple of things I didn't quite buy into as it touches on the old "captive to lover" theme, but the writing is excellent, the action non-stop, and it answered some of my questions from book 1 while leaving me, yet again, dying to get my hands on the next book. Another Must Read!
