About the Author

John William Law is an editor and journalist whose work has appeared in newspapers, magazines and books. In all, he has worked on the staffs of six daily, three weekly and several monthly publications. He has also been the editor, writer and research of a number of books by other authors. As a freelance writer his work has appeared in magazines and in print and he has been interviewed for print, television and radio programs about ilm history and the entertainment industry. His books include Curse of the Silver Screen - Tragedy & Disaster Behind the Movies (1999), Reel Horror - True Horrors Behind Hollywood’s Scary Movies (2004), Master of Disaster: Irwin Allen (2008) and Alfred Hitchcock: The Icon Years (2010).
