This book is actually a great resource and a workbook. It explains in detail the different characteristics and pitfalls for each spiritual gift and helps you to take your own assessment. Then it gives you great ideas for where to use those gifts both in a church setting and in other working environments. And finally it was a good help in determining which gifts are primary gifts when they score really close.
Please read this book! It will helped me understand myself better and understand why others acted they way they did. God made them that way. I have used this information not only for a textbook, but also as a reference guide on getting along with different personality types (Motivational Gifts). I recommend this to anyone who deals with people.... (who doesn't)? Anyway, one way to judge a bible doctrine is to determine whether it frees you or ties you up, and this sincerely liberated me.
Although the book offers an in-depth self-assessment tool, I am not convinced concerning the books fundamental distinction between serving gifts, spiritual gifts, and motivations gifts. The latter is the sole concern of this book. As the book admits, the survey revolves around personality type more than any other trait (e.g. giftedness). In all, this is a helpful resource, but the title might mislead many who are interested in a true "gifts analysis."
Book arrived in good condition and in the time frame it was promised. I would certainly use the seller again.
