Not Banned in Boston yet, but one local pastor doesn't want it available to members in his church. What is he afraid of, and what doesn't he want you to know? We must join with those pastors who have courage to go where the Holy Spirit leads. and be creative, if we hope to find a path to overcome the current hostility to the church.
When we witness to the faith, it should not be to take members away from another church as if we are playing a giant game of musical pews. We must do better than have auto shows, host carnivals, or have Bible studies, unless, of course, it is one about these two books!
This book will help you hone your message...
• so you can attract and win over Secular Humanists, atheists and others by a thoughtful witness that is provocative but not judgmental, based in scripture instead of magical thinking and relevant in a multi-cultural, multi-religious world.
• so you will be prepared to offer a solid witness to others when confronted by those who have picked apart the Bible and found weak spots in our interpretation of it.
• so when you need an appropriate response, you will be able to connect to the woman who says she doesn't understand why some people want freedom of religion when what she wants is freedom from religion.
• Just when you thought you fully understood the important things about God, the authenticity of the Bible, and how to witness, here comes a book that will challenge you because there is power in seeing what you may have missed or misunderstood.
