This book is so much fun! Aaron Sparrow and James Silvani are top-knotch as always -- the dialogue is witty, the pacing is pitch-perfect, and every page is a visual delight. Whether you're a fan of the original cartoon, someone who kept up with the BOOM! comics run back in 2010 and 2011, or even just a lass or bloke with an affinity for well-told superhero capers, I'd be hard-pressed to recommend any book as strongly as this one. Sparrow really has a knack for nailing character voices, especially Darkwing, whose grandiose style, comically inflated ego, and penchant for alliteration shine through excellently here -- and when the book does go in for a strategic spine-chilling moment or a kick to the veritable feels, it lands perfectly. Recommended read, 100%. Fun, family-friendly, and whip-smart from beginning to end.
