I highly recommend this book, for it puts a different perspective on an often overlooked part of Colonial history. It was difficult to put down, for it captures your attention and holds it tight. The First book of a series, currently five strong, each book can stand alone, but together they form a perfect melody of literary flavors.

I found this series a great read and would read this author again. The book follows two friends and how their friendship touches not only their family but the world around them. This is a series that shows that religion was foremost in their lives.
