Divided (Brides of the Kindred Series #10) by Evangeline Anderson

How does a girl who's about to take her vows as a nun wind up with two hot warriors to pick from?

That's Becca Malone's problem. After eating a piece of bonding fruit cake, she wound up with Far and Truth, Twin Kindred warriors who were separated at birth and never formed a proper Twin bond. Because the twins hate each other, Becca feels free to choose between them...until the three of them fall into a vision of unspeakable terror...a vision that is about to come true if Far and Truth don't quickly form a bond. And guess who has to be the bridge between them?

Becca is scared to death she's going to wind up bonded for life and Far and Truth aren't too thrilled about the prospect of sharing her. But when the ominous vision sends them on a trip to a rogue planet where the inhabitants live out their lives in a strange, mental internet called the Mindscape, they have no choice but to come together in the most intimate way possible.

Becca comes to realize she can't choose between the light twin, sweet and gentle Far and the dark twin, intense and passionate Truth. But how can she be with both of them at once when the twins have sworn to be forever...Divided?

Every time I buy one of the books in the Kindred series I tell myself it will be the last one. As soon as a new book.comes out I find myself buying it and loving it. Even though she has already written a Twin Kindred book there is nothing similiar about this book. I was captivated from the start. As you read furthur into the book you really start to understand why the characters do the things they do. Like all of the kindred series everything is not simple. The characters go on a few adventures before the end of the story, some that make you laugh others that might evoke other emotions.

****Spoiler Free****** Ah, Twin Kindred. Be still my heart. It's intriguing the way Ms. Anderson handles twins, one dare and one light. If you're familiar with the series, then you already know about Twin Kindreds from Lock and Deep. Their book was an example of how it's supposed to be. Far and Truth are an example of how things don't always go according to plan. They didn't bond, they hate each other. Becca believes she can choose between the men. #1) Um, why would you want to? #2) Even if they do hate each other, Far and Truth are Twin Kindred. I don't understand how Becca thought she could get around bonding the way nature created them to.  Lucky for all three, fate steps in.  Ms. Anderson has a gift for crafting believable dialogue, dynamic characters, and smoking hot love scenes. The Kindred series is fantastic and hasn't lost momentum like some series' do. I'm excited to see more of Ms. Anderson's Kindred books in the future.

Divided was one of the most infuriating Brides of Kindred story line yet, and I LOVED it all!  Truth and Far are Twin Kindred separate at birth. Truth was raised in the way of the Rai'ku...NO TOUCHING! Far was adopted and raised with a family of Twin Kindred but was alone.  Aboard the mothership is a soon-to-be nun who happened to eat some of bonding fruit layer of Kat's weeding cake and THAT is  where this story begins!  After a brief and much needed encounter with Truth and Far to subdue the effects of the concentrated bonding fruit filling in the cake the twins fight for Becca's (the soon to be nuns) affection and attention.  Because they were NOT raised in the TRUE Twin Kindred way the Twins refuse to share Becca or themselves.   There was a lot of much needed bickering in the book.  Much needed to understand the plight that Truth and Far faced.  There is action, adventure, love, and seeking found in this book.  Another well taught tale! Bravo.

First- the Brides of Kindreds are NOT stand alone reads, I would advise by taking a weekend to start at the beginning because there are times where y'all are going to need to take a break! In this story Truth, Far, and Becca were given a vision stating that they were the only ones that could save the Unmated Kindred Males on the Mother Ship from the black dust. Truth is the Dark Twin and is separated at birth ( and their father Feels Pain) from Far the Light. Truth and his father land on a planet that does not show any emotion- but he has always felt like he had a void, someone/something is missing. And as we know when reading the BOK that the Dark twin is not always easy to get along with, kinda gloomy and pissy but oh goodness when they break down and love a women they give it 100%. Far being the Lighter Twin was raised by adoptive parents that 'found' him and didn't have it so well either. His stepbrothers calling him a freak and him not wanting to live anymore! ( this is where I got teary eyed and had to put down) There's so much during that I just can't put it all in it would be spoilers but its Mindscape..... so y'all really have to read the story and also Truth and Becca saw that happening to Far and all that happens to Truth. To me it was really emotional. Rebecca aka Becca had it in her head to become a nun but after eating wedding cake laced w bondingfruit at Kat, Deep, and Locks wedding. Becca is fighting her inner demons through out the story that she almost lost both the guys and that's even after Truth comes around to the ''touching'. But she finally does. I enjoyed this story greatly- but during Truth and Far's story I did have to put down and comes back to read. Got kind emotional that I was cussing and wanted to throw something and my Nookie (Nook is out of the question) . Ms. Anderson really tells so much in this story that all I can say over and over again is read, read and read it.... y'all won't regret it... I promise!,, ****A complimentary copy provided by author/publisher for honest review***

Two is company, Three's true love. In this book we get to see even more strange and exotic worlds. The author does a great job of world building and really making you feel as if you you really are there. We even get to learn a bit about a new race that is very similar to the Twin Kindred and yet different. As strange as some of these worlds are even there customs it is extremely easy to get lost in them. Almost as easy as it is to get lost in between Far and Truth. With a new threat that is targeting all unmated kindred it is up to the uneasy alliance between the trio to find a way to combat them. Becca, Truth, and Far are all still getting used to the strange bond they share and this causes some problems on their quest. The characters really grow a lot through the book and their journey was definitely an emotional roller coaster. The amount of feels this book had was unbelievable. I highly recommend a box of tissues and most importantly a fan. I was laughing, giggling, crying, and most of all very hot. Becca is a very sweet and innocent woman, but he has been feeling anything but since meeting the twins. I really enjoyed getting to know her and admired her strength and the courage it took to protect those she loved. She was definitely taking on an emotional journey that really bettered her in the end. Far is so sweet and intelligent. Everything a light twin should be, but he also had a deep pain that still haunted him. He was so much fun to be around and I couldn't help but feel for him when Becca and Truth fought the connection they had. All he really wanted was to be together with the ones he loved. I also found it interesting that even though he was the light twin he definitely knew how to take charge. Truth is every bit as stubborn and pigheaded as a Dark twin usually is.  He did have a vulnerable side though, that came out around Far and Becca much to his dismay. His upbringing was a traumatic and caused much of his reluctance to bond. My heart really went out to him when I found out about his past. Its no wonder he was so afraid to get close to Far.I was so glad to see Becca bring these two together. This story is so touching and very steamy I couldn't put it down. It is definitely longer than most of the kindred books, but I still didn't want it to end. I cannot wait to get the next book in the series it will definitely be "Devoured" by me!
