As I love pickles, this is an ideal cookbook for me. Techniques and recipes abound, along with how to use your creations.
I enjoyed DIY Pickling. It’s a book that is more for those that enjoy pickling and are looking for simple things to do. I loved the variety of recipes in there and the simple directions. The breakdown of the instructions made the idea of pickling and preparing these foods more approachable. I did enjoy reading about foods I didn’t think I could make on my own. What I didn’t like were the few pictures included. When I look in a recipe book, I want to see pictures of what the food looks like. There weren’t many to see. I would still recommend the book though. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
