About the Author

Author Melvia Miller has become fondly known as: "The Soulful Dr. Seuss" --- because of her ability to write poetry. Some of her students created this stamp as a result of reading this classic, epic poem: "New and Different Friends."

She created a several activities, games and exercises to make the learning process more effective and to help spice up classes. Her unique game permits participants to customize their own game, while learning more about: health, science, nature, history, cultures, geography, math and ecology.

She has taught in the public schools and in universities and colleges. Melvia F. Miller is an expert in the area of designing educational materials for teaching and training several subjects -- including cultural diversity and Black History.
