About the Author
Josiane Vlitos is an illustrator hailing from North Vancouver. Her work is rooted in storytelling and her English childhood. Josiane attended Emily Carr University in Vancouver, BC, earning a degree in Communication Design with an illustration focus. Since graduating, she has illustrated numerous children's books, including her own book Bee Friend. Currently, she enjoys freelancing and teaching art and design. When she's not drawing, you can find her with her nose in a book or her head in the clouds. She also loves cups of hot herbal tea, chocolate biscuits, and is a proud rabbit mom.
Amelia oversees the development of original stories at Oak Tree Comics. She is a graduate of NYU Tisch where she majored in film and TV and was the director for NYU's Fusion Film Festival. Her storytelling focuses on women, the LGBTQ community, and environmentally conscious and lighthearted comedies. Amelia writes, directs, and creates stories in print, on screen, and in yarn.
