This book was very good. It really portrayed an added depth to Rose and Mickey as just not companions or friends of companions. While the Doctor was off doing Doctor things, Rose was doing pretty well on her own in their quest to save the world. It was fun to read about ordinary London and alien plots coming together. Great read and one for my permanent library.

This book is not one of my favorites and I've read or listened to many new Dr. Who books. It is spooky and gruesome which are not my favorite things. But if you like lots of death and creepy evil monstors, you will probably love this story.
