I was looking for actual 'food' recipes. Actual meals I could cook for my two dogs. This book has 122 recipes. Only 17 relate to actual meals. The rest are cookies, snacks, munchies. Also, the Auther uses unusual ingredients with no explanation as to why. Another thing. Each recipe has a nutrition guide. Thats great if you know how much Sodium or Carbs or Cholesterol a dog is supposed to have. Otherwise its useless.

I am slowly going through the recipes one by one and my dogs are CRAZY for everything I cooked so far! I would like to recommend this book to anyone who would like to cook tastey treats for their pets. If you want a good cookbook for dogs' then this would be it!

People food prepared is not good for dogs. Onions (raw or cooked) and garlic are toxic to dogs. Eating them is as serious as Chocolate. What is a natural diet for a human is NOT a natural diet for dogs and I am glad someone has finaly come out with a safe book that won't kill my dog.
