Welcome to Romance Virginia and the first Main Street Romance Flirt.

What's a flirt you ask? Think of them like an episode of a TV show bringing you snippets of life in your favorite romance world.

A weekend road trip through the Blue Ridge Mountains is just the escape Kelly Harrison needs. Add in her best friend, a scenic overlook, an a cappella serenade from a popular country band, and the adventures are off to a grand start. Without a map or schedule, they can go anywhere, which is exactly what they do when Romance, Virginia, beckons.

Thrilled to unplug from life's hectic demands, Rick Lambert can't think of a better way to relax than cruising the mountains of Virginia with his longtime Navy buddy. The only thing better? Sampling what's known to be the best food on the Eastern seaboard in a town called Romance.

The quaint small town promises a lazy afternoon in the sun, smiles and waves from passersby, and a bottomless pitcher of ice-cold sweet tea. But this picturesque location has its own special charm. With the resident fat cat and a couple of Great Danes, Romance is ready to turn Kelly and Rick's worlds upside down.

What a delightful introduction to Main Street Romances!!! I could just visualize the encounter between Kelly and Rick with leashes wrapped around them! The pace and characters are just what I imaged for MSR and is what I always expect from Chris Keniston. Can't wait to meet the owner of the other Great Dane and see what develops. I was totally intrigued by the singing group and hope to see more of them soon. This is a great short for fans of Chris Keniston or a great introduction to her wonderful writing.

This was such a sweet read! I really enjoyed it and need more romance in this town. Yes, I want to read more...hopefully the friends will have a full length romance story? I was given a copy so that I could leave an honest review. I do recommend this flirt!
