Overview

I built myself up from nothing. A product of the foster care system, I learned early on how to fight hard to get what I want. Whether it was starting my first company in college, earning my first billion, or buying my first professional sports team, I know how to get what I want, when I want it.

Until now.

Willow Monahan is fierce, independent, and hot as hell. She also takes great pleasure in shutting down my advances. The younger sister of one of my star players, Willow intrigues me to my very core. And while she may have willingly given me her body, she is hesitant to offer up more. Now I'm on a mission to find out why.

I've decided to approach my desire for Willow like I've approached much of my life; with persistence, determination, and a whole lot of that Dominik Carlson alpha charm. Buying a hockey expansion team, building the Arizona Vengeance from the ground up, and bringing home a championship may prove to be an easier feat than winning Willow's heart.

But I've never been a quitter.

Willow Monahan... I'm coming for you.

I was so excited for Dominik’s story and it didn’t disappoint, I was captivated from the first page to the last line. It was always going to take a special strong independent woman to tame this hero and Willow Monaghan is just perfect and exactly what Dominick needs. Dominik may be in control of the Arizona Vengeance Hockey Team and be may like to think he is in control when it comes to his love life but Willow certainly gives him a run for his money, he needs to fight for what he wants and she won’t give it easily..... The chemistry between these two is off the charts, it’s scorching hot, the banter is witty and it flows so naturally and it’s great to see these two battle for control in their relationship. This book ticked all my boxes, it was everything I expected and more and even though I have said it before after reading this story I’m left with a new favourite member of the Arizona Vengeance only difference this time it’s the owner and not a player who stole my heart. Looking forward to more from the very talented Sawyer Bennett and her hot hockey teams....

Dominik is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, a hockey team. He is a self made billionaire, anything he wants is his for the asking, everything except for Willow. Willow is fiercely independent, unafraid of anything except having her heart broken. These two together sets off fireworks. I love their story, I love them together. A stand-alone book in the Arizona Vengeance series. Review copy was received for a honest opinion.

“He’s absolutely everything I would seek in a man if I wanted a relationship. Confidence oozes from his pores, and he knows exactly what he wants. Hell, he knows exactly what I want… and he gave it to me in spades.”~ Willow I loved this fiery couple so much! Dominik is the powerful, determined & oh so sexy owner of the Arizona Vengeance. He’s devotion to his hockey team & the lengths he’ll go for them was incredible. And when he turns his focus on winning the fiercely independent Willow, the pages ignite! Their steamy love affair, the teams race for the playoffs and some dangerous decisions had me sneaking off to get in just one more chapter. I couldn’t put it down! It had everything I crave reading- passion, friendship, loyalty, jeopardy, family, angst & humor. Dominik exceeded all my expectations and has become my favorite in the Vengeance series- he’ll be a tough act to follow!

This poor book is a victim of me having a very bad reading dip. To be honest, I actually started reading this book in order to get through another book I felt I needed to finish. I would allow myself two chapters of this book if I’d read one of the other book. I know, I know…I need to learn to put a book down when it’s not working for me. There was a particular reason I felt I needed to finish that one, so used this one to get me through. Therefore, this story wasn’t able to totally capture me as most of the others in this series have. But it was an amazing book. I know that because it got me through. I just wish I could have read this book without interruption. Of course, I’ve been waiting to read about Dominik and Willow for a while now. There interactions, brief as they were, in the other books spoke of their obvious chemistry. This is the story of two lone wolves, people not used to having to answer to anyone else, finding themselves drawn together. Sure, Willow has a tight family…but she doesn’t answer to them. She makes sure of that by keeping certain things to herself. In fact, Dominik admits to himself that he needs Willow long before Willow admits how drawn she is to Dominik on more than a sexual level. For some reason, Willow’s resistance to a real relationship and her reasons seemed a bit shallow. I don’t think I’m explaining that correctly. She has a very good reason to keep her heart closed off from romantic entanglements, but I didn’t feel her actual pain from that incident from earlier in her life. More like it hurt her ego than broke her heart. There’s a definite and intense fire between these two. I love how the head strong and always in control Willow is a totally different person when it comes to sex. Which works out well since Dominik always is such an alpha male. Yet he learns that, out of the bedroom, he has to cede to Willow once in a while. He is able to find the give and take. Again, it seems Willow is the holdout here. I love Willow and Dominik together, but I’m not a huge Willow fan. I found her to be a bit selfish when it came to certain things. I like her, just don’t love her. But Dominik is the perfect match for her to keep her calm in certain situations. One thing that I absolutely loved was a small crossover between this series and this author’s Jameson Force Security series. It makes me eager for a certain story in that series so I can see how it all plays out. Although I had my issues as stated at the beginning, I know how I would have felt about this story had I been in a clearer state of mind. Therefore, I’m not taking it out on this book that it took me longer than you would think to get through it all. Like all of the other hockey stories by Sawyer Bennett, this was sexy and fun.

Sawyer Bennett has done it again with Dominik. It is the 6th book in the Arizona Vengeance Series, but somehow she has created a world that is unique and I never want to leave it. I've been reading about the mysterious team owner, Dominik from the beginning of this series. I've been intrigued and knew his interest in Dax's sister, Willow. But I never knew the lengths he would go to make her his. She is strong, feisty and one who takes charge of her world. She gives Dominik a run for his money when it comes to pursuing her. Basically because she isn't interested in the things he has to offer. She's content with being single and doesn't need strings attached. Then Dominik comes in and he's more than just the team's owner. He just might be more than she can handle. I absolutely love the world Sawyer has created in this series as well as her Cold Fury series. This was a book of cross-overs to say. I've been a fan since the beginning, so seeing old people was well as new ones resurface, was pure delight for me. I NEED the next book in her Jamison Force Securities series too, as this one adds more details for what is happening there as well. OMG! I am dying to get more books from Sawyer - all series. I can't decide which one I need next after reading this amazing story. PS - Erin Mallon and Christian Fox do an excellent job of narrating this brilliant story. I couldn't put it down.

I have been really excited to see how Dominik and Willow were going to unfold! I really enjoyed seeing how determined Dominik was to show Willow they can be so much more. I really liked to see the personal side of him and not just the owner. He really is such a caring man and will do anything and everything for people he cares about. Willow is a lot more gun shy about everything and really had to come to terms with their relationship in her own way. I really liked seeing how Willow really got to Dominik and how well they do match with each other. Now all I want is more of this hockey world!

Domink's story was one that I knew we would get eventually because this charismatic owner of the Arizona Vengeance is one person who gets what he wants and he has wanted Dax's sister, Willow, for a while now. Boy oh boy has she been putting up a fight.....but as you can guess all her running has come to an end, FINALLY!!! This was a great addition to the series and if you have read any of the past books you know what a great guy Domink is and we find out so much about his life in this book and it was a little sad, but it was mostly rewarding. I loved that he gave so much of his earnings to help others, and he also gave his time which is a big turn on. Willow is a very independent woman but she doesn't mind giving up control in the bedroom which makes things between her and Domink so much more explosive for her. I don't give spoilers in my reviews so I wont, but I can tell you we get a peek at a mission that Jameson Security was working on. This book can be read as a standalone but I would suggest you read the full series in order because Dominik is a major presence in each of the books. Happy Reading!!! **I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books**

This is Book 6 in the "Arizona Vengeance" Series and this time is about Willow and Dominik. The great thing about following a series is that characters are already known by us, readers and we are waiting for the time second characters get their own story. Dominik is the owner of the Vengeance Hockey Team and Willow is Dax's sister. The book has all the ingredients to be a fantastic read! The chemistry between Willow and Dominik is just perfect and hot. Very entertaining! Great read!!

Dominik and Wiilow’s story is not to be missed. We get to learn a lot about the cocky owner of the Vengeance in his HEA. Willow ripped my heart out and I’m glad she stood her ground for both of them to come to terms with the fact they can’t live without one another. The surprises at the end had me laughing out loud! I could not put it down once I started!

Omg This is now my favorite Arizona vengeance book by far. They are all wonderful but this one I couldn’t not put down and now that I am done I don’t want it to end. Sawyer Bennett has become one of my go to authors. I have been waiting for this story of Willow and Dominik and was not disappointed. There are many turns in this story and I love getting to see all the other characters from other stories and stories to come. I can’t wait for the next one but I now need to go reread this one Incase I missed something.

I will unabashedly say I love the “hockey romance” genre above all others in the sports genre. And this lady, Sawyer Bennett is the reason. I found my first book, Zack, the 3rd book in Ms. Bennett’s Cold Fury hockey series thru NetGalley, and I have been totally hooked on “hockey romance” and Sawyer Bennett ever since. Ms. Bennett has a new, well newer hockey series out, the Arizona Vengeance. Dominik, the 6th book in the series, is Ms. Bennett latest release. And, let me say this: BRAVO!!! When I read the blurb for this book several months ago, I could not wait for it to hit my tablet, and when it did, I could not put it down. Ms. Bennett went a different route with this book, this time we have the story about the owner, Dominik Carlson, and not one of the players. Aaaand, let me say this about Dominik Carlson, if he were not already taken by the fabulous Willow Monahan, I would definitely call dibs. He Dominik just has that something that every girl dream of drive, loyalty, he is not afraid to show his feelings and persistence. And believe me when he sets his eyes on Willow he will need persistence. I absolutely loved watching the cat and mouse chase between these two, and the cat and mouse chase, well it went both ways. I absolutely LOVED this whole book, but my favorite part was at the end when Dominik….. Yeah, sorry ladies, I cannot give anything away. I will say this, you will NEVER believe the lengths Dominik will go to, to get the love of his life. Because of my love of reading, I was gifted with a copy of this spectacular book for my thoughts and opinion on this book. In my opinion, you can not go wrong in purchasing this fantastic book. Thank you for reading my review. Happy reading.

Fans of this series will understand when I say...FINALLY!! Author Sawyer Bennett has been teasing us with Dominik and Willow's story for several books now but she has finally delivered and it was well worth the build up and wait. This series is set in the hockey world but it is truly the charismatic characters and their personal lives that make the stories so incredible. If you're new to the series don't worry. You will be able to enjoy this book as a standalone. Be warned though, you will get hooked! The writing is superior, storylines crisp and fresh, and I can't gush enough over these amazing characters. Put this book along with all the others on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

All through this series I have been SO looking forward to Dominik's book. However when I began reading it I was put off and really disappointed. I liked that both his character and Willow's were strong and independent, however these characteristics in the way this book was written seemed to be a detriment to their relationship. I had been rooting for Dominik to find a way to get through to stubborn Willow and thought he was all in. However right from the start of the book this preconceived notion (based on the past books in the series) was ripped away by his actions. My heart sank. I struggled to get through the rest of the book. If you like really hot sex and not too much else other than main characters that you want to strangle a lot you will enjoy this book. The supporting characters and story revolving the hockey team, etc was still great. The writing was still good just not what I had been expecting. I know a lot of people loved this one and maybe you will too so don't judge the book alone by my personal feelings! Honestly this is probably the only book I've read by this author that I've felt this way about.

Dominik Carlson, owner of the Arizona Vengeance and many other businesses/teams, is a powerful businessman. As a child, Dominik bounced around various houses while in the foster system, never feeling valued or good enough. Those feelings of inadequacy made him work harder to make something of himself in hopes of someday giving back to children stuck in the same situation he grew up in. Although he spends countless hours to ensure the Vengeance is on the path to win the Cup, he also devotes many hours working with foster kiddos, trying to instill hope that their dreams can come true if they work hard. He’s strong-willed, successful, dedicated, and ALL alpha male! While there’s never a shortage of women hoping to be “the one”, Dominik can’t seem to forget Willow. The one woman who wants nothing to do with him. Willow Monahan, sister to Dax, travels the world as a photojournalist. She’s beautiful, smart, sassy, independent, and a runner...She runs from her feelings, when she’s challenged, and when she’s told “no”. After having her heart broken, she’s vowed to NEVER hand her heart over to a man again. She’ll “commit” to a fling, but that’s about it. After an amazing night with Dominik, she gets scared and runs. She later returns home to support Dax and the Vengeance’s run for the Cup. The closer she gets to Dominik, the more her fears start to kick in. This time, she accepts a job in an unstable country, placing herself in grave danger... This novel....I honestly think Sawyer Bennett gets better with each novel! In my opinion, this is by far the best novel in the series-ranks right up there with Tacker! Dominik is a businessman, but a friend to all that meet him. He genuinely cares for all his players and has a hand in all their HEAs. Dominik is the perfect blend of Alpha male with a compassionate side. Willow, initially, is a challenge to Dominik. But she becomes so much more! I LOVED that she was strong and not whiny. It was equally nice to see her vulnerable side, the one that Dominik nurtured. The story itself was very realistic and a suspenseful page turner! I couldn’t put it down!!! Hats off to the crossover scene from the Code Name novels. Excellent!!! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Dominick, we've gotten to know you with all the amazing things you've done for the team. You built a hockey family. And your determination to win Willow is commendable and pretty funny when the billionaire can't get the girl to respond to texts . Of course your alpha male hotness doesn't hurt and your stellar performance between the sheets means you get to stay around for a while. And oh the power you wield when things are going your way and when the unexpected happens. Be prepared to want to throw your book at some point. You have been warned.

If you read Tacker you got a glimpse into the begining of Dominik and Willow's relationship. So I was really excited to see where the author was going to take this story. Willow is such a strong, independent woman so it was fun to read about Dominik trying to pin her down. It was a challenge but one Dominik wasn't going to back down from. There was a lot of back and forth of them being together, then not, then together, and then not. It made for a guessing game if they would actually end up together. I did enjoy getting to know these characters more as they were present in the past books. I was happy to learn about their pasts and how their lives became to what they are now. I was expecting some more drama with regards to Willow being the sister to one of Dominik's players. Overall, I really enjoyed the story! If you love sports romances as much I do this whole series is fantastic!

I have to say this is probably my absolute favorite Sawyer book! I have read several of her books and this one is amazing. It is the kind of book that is the right length without fillers or repeated lines. It's sweet with the right amount of sexy. And it's the kind you can read in one sitting and then dream about later on. Dominik is the man all women dream about and hope to find. Dominik didn't grow up in a loving family with the white picket fence. No, he grew up in foster care. Not having a family of his own he knows what he wants and doesn't stop until he has it. He is a multibillionaire and now is the owner of two professional hockey teams. His players are his family. He treats them with love and respect. He is a great business man and in a way he isn't. When his players have personal problems he does the right thing by them although it may not be the best decision for his team. Dominik is compassionate, caring, loving, and protective of everyone in his life. Willow has been hurt in her life. Her ex fiance has made a big impact on her. If you can't trust the one that you are supposed to be married to till death do you part than who can you trust. Since Willow has been burned by her ex she doesn't do relationships. She doesn't even have that great of a relationship with her family. She is a photojournalist that has taken dangerous jobs in the past with no thought of her family. Then she meets Dominik and things change. Dominik has to convince Willow to give them a chance. Dominik: An Arizona Vengeance Novel is a wonderful read. I highly recommend it.

Dominik was completely worth the wait. I am so happy that Bennett wrote this story. Dominik’s story deserved to be told. For fans of this series, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to see where this goes next.

I have been waiting for this book since day 1. And author Sawyer Bennett did not let me down. As the owner of the Arizona Vengeance, he's not a player, but the first line becomes his brothers. They bond over guys night out and his love affair with Willow. I never, and I mean never ever, expected the twist at the end of the book. It was a glimpse into another series/another time/another place. However floored I am, I was glad to see this turn. Dominik and Willow are perfect for each other. They each bring their own brand of craziness to the relationship. Will they work through the crazy? Or will they crash and burn?

5 star Review Dominik (Arizona Vengeance #6) by Sawyer Bennett From the first to the last chapter I was riveted to the story that Sawyer Bennett wove and couldn’t put it down. I have been waiting for Dominik’s story since he was first introduced as the owner of the Arizona Vengeance team and I knew that the woman who he would eventually fall for would have to be a strong, independent woman, not afraid to stand her ground and that is certainly, Willow Monahan. The chemistry between Willow and Dominik is off the charts and I loved the banter and humour that flowed between them as well; they each gave as good as the other and their fiery relationship was captivating to watch unfold. These two suited one another so much and there is so much more to Dominik than just the alpha, always in control owner of the team and it was fascinating to watch as they each fought for control in the relationship. Each time I read a new book in this series, I have a new favourite, they just keep getting better and better. This was an entertaining read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Dominik Carlson is the hot billionaire owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team. Willow Monahan is the sister of his star player. Once Dominik lays his eyes on willow he cannot let her go. Willow is a one night stand kind of girl after having her heart broken. While Dominik rocks her world, she's not willing to let her guard down and open herself up to a committed relationship. Dominik has never seen himself as a family man, but Willow has him changing his mind. What will happen when he wants more than she's willing to give? Can they both open themselves up to love or is it too late? It seems that each of Ms. Bennett's books in this series just get better and better. She has you on an emotional rollercoaster. You love her character's, you're mad at them, you are sad for them, you name it. She writes her stories to where you feel that the characters are real. As always, I can't wait to read the next one!

Dominik's story blew me away! We learn so much about the elusive owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team and his pursuit of Willow. How do I even begin to describe the myriad of emotions this book drew out of me. My heart was hammering in certain parts and with the great banter and steamy moments as well, the storyline was captivating! Willow is a really sassy woman, and to be quite frank, she does what she wants when she wants and no one tells her what to do, it's a woman's prerogative, though, right? Dominik seems to get through to her in a sense and his alpha side is incredibly hot. But when something doesn't go how you think it will, who is the first to put up walls. This book was absolutely amazing! Heart pounding!!! Intriguing and with a great sense of family. Well played Ms Bennett, well flipping played!!
