About the Author

John Dalton was born in Detroit, Michigan. He went to high school in Windsor, Ontario and graduated from the University of Calgary with an Engineering degree. John has a residence in Grand Junction, Colorado although he is currently living on his trimaran, Kekona, in St Marten and is planning another circumnavigation. As an expert kayaker/skier who spent many years building ski lifts in the Rockies, he considers himself a 'mountain guy' turned 'tropo' and is most content when he is in the tropical Caribbean Ocean, sailing Kekona or surfing his kayak. John is presently working as a tramway engineer and his primary focus is to save our precious Rain Forests thru sustainable eco-tourism.
