This is the first of the Hope series that I have read and I found it entertaining, comforting and a joy to read. Jaci Burton proves that opposites attract and make a great couple. This is a story of a tough, motorcycle riding recluse and a sweet, lovable bakery owner. Brady Connors has suffered a tragedy within in his family and now he just wants to be left alone with his anger and grief. He finds solace in customizing motorcycles and he has a mean sweet tooth. Megan Lee is determined to bring Brady out of his self-imposed isolation. They start as friends but neither can fight the attraction that grows between them.

Jaci Burton’s latest Hope, Oklahoma, novel, Don’t Let Go explores how the death of a friend or loved one reverberates throughout a life. When that death is a beloved older brother who you feel responsible for it is magnified ten-fold. Such is the backstory for Brady Connors, a longtime resident of Hope that has shut himself off since his brother’s death. With a little nudging from the rest of the town he makes new friends and starts coming out of his shell. Rescuing a small dog he names Roxie also helps to push him back out into the world. Once there he falls quickly for the lovely Megan Lee, local bakery owner. Brady is slow to warm up, but when he does he takes life on in full stride. It is only when he stops to think that problems arise. Moving on from his brother’s death is a slow process and it is only with the help of his friends that he truly moves past it. The journey is well-written and takes the reader along with compassion and heart. This is a wounded hero story at its finest. Those who have read the series from the beginning will love the interaction between all the couples and friends that heavily populate this novel. Those that start here will feel as though they want to belong to the club and will go back and read the earlier installments. Either way, a visit to Hope is always worth a few hours. NUMBER OF HEARTS: 3 1/2 As always Ms. Burton gives us an amazing story from Hope, Oklahoma. I have really enjoyed all of my visits to Hope. But I thinking that Don’t Let Go might be one of my top favorites in this series. I absolutely love Brady. Brady has one goal and only one goal to open his own custom paint shop. He doesn’t really want anything to do with the people of Hope. But the sweet pastry shop owner Megan makes it very hard for him to do that. Throw in a cute little puppy and you have a fun story. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Hope. Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley & Jove, Berkley Publishing Group in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and not a paid review.

Jaci Burton writes a great love story set in Hope, Oklahoma. Brady Conners is a custom paint artist who works on cars and motorcycles. He comes back to his childhood home town after his brother passes away. Megan Lee owns a bakery in Hope, Oklahoma. Brady is very much trying to keep to himself until he can leave town and start up his own motorcycle paint shop. Friends have tried to set Megan and Brady up several times and nothing seems to happen. Megan knows that they are attracted to each other. Megan and Brady set out on an adventure that has many twists and turns. At the end they will discover friendship, family and a love that will last a lifetime.

Jaci Burton tugs my heartstrings in the latest installment to the Hope series! Brady is the strong, silent type. He works hard and keeps his head down while saving money to open his own motorcycle detailing shop. Brady is also carrying around a massive amount of guilt and pain from his older brother’s death. He’s basically going through the motions until a cute little mutt of a dog tumbles into his life…followed by a certain pretty baker who’s slowly working her way into Brady’s tightly guarded heart. Brady and Megan are complete opposites but seem to fit each other perfectly. As the pair end up spending time together, feelings get entwined and eventually becomes too much for Brady to handle. Megan knows she should step lightly but falls fast and hard for the stoic mechanic. Love is a battlefield and winning the war is harder than either of them thought. All they have to do is don’t let go. Those three simple words could bring the couple together or drive them permanently apart. Jaci Burton always delivers an entertaining story with lots of loveable characters, lots of laughs and lots of passion! You’ll shed a few tears but in the end, you’ll be glad you did! Brady and Megan were great together. I wasn’t sure at first, but as their relationship grew they just fit together. I also loved how Brady’s rescue dog brought out the softer side in him. We are also treated to several scenes with the rest of the Hope gang! Lots of surprises and a lot of laughs! I enjoyed the book and can’t wait for the next one! I highly recommend this and any book by Jaci Burton! ***I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***

Spotlight, Review & Giveaway: DON’T LET GO (Hope, Book 6) by Jaci Burton Publication Date: July 26, 2016 Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated 4 Stars REVIEW: A lovely little romance set in Hope, with all the characters we’ve already met playing a large part of the story. The scenes when they’re all together seem so natural that you can’t help but feel that you’re a part of the story. This sexy romance had Brady and Megan feeling their way through the emotions of a new relationship. It was made more intense because Brady was carrying a load of baggage he had to overcome. Overall it was a nice, sweet and sexy story. *Review copy provided by Pengiun in exchange for an honest review.

Don’t Let Go by Jaci Burton is the 6th book in her wonderful Hope series. The Hope series is another of those wonderful small town romances that revolve around families; not to mention you can never go wrong reading any of Jaci Burton’s romances. Brady Conners, our hero, is a loner. He gets along with everyone in town, but tends to shy away from any attention. Brady lost his brother awhile ago, and though his brother died of a drug overdose, he still feels responsible. Slowly, despite his determination to not get involved, Brady does begin to enjoy the company of Megan Lee, our heroine, who owns the local bakery. Megan is a wonderful heroine, always bubbly, friendly and determined to get Brady to open up. She has always found him to be attractive, but she does have her work cut out for her. What follows is a slow build romance that with Megan’s persistence to push Brady’s buttons, and the little dog that Brady is forced to adopt, he will slowly melt his hardened heart. Brady has to overcome his issue of blaming himself for his brother’s death, and allowing him not to shy away from the best thing that has ever happened to him….Megan. I loved seeing all the people from the previous books, which included all the McCormacks, and getting updates on them, as a few of them are now pregnant. It was nice to see Megan be able to rely on their friendship to help her through some of the difficult times ahead for her and Brady. I always enjoy revisiting Hope, as the characters Jaci Burton has created are fun, romantic, and sexy. I love the family dynamics and the friendships that make this a special series. I will say that I did think this book had more sex scenes then the previous books, but Brady and Megan were a great sexy couple. If you enjoy small town romances, great couples, friendships, family, cute dogs, then you should be reading this series.
