An extremely entertaining set of stories featuring the author Thomas Bistritz who's both lovable and offensive at the same time. Highly recommended for all who just need a reason to smile. Overall, Ultra Fabulous!

I loved the book and found a great story of a young man finding himself and doing everything he wants to reinvent that tiny part of NYC that's his own. Highly recommended and a book that flies in the face of everyone not looking to be themselves whatever the situation.

I purchased this book in person from Thomas and Katherine at a bar in New York City probably a short time after its publication. I was intrigued by both the cover, and the writer. Shortly after buying Thomas a martini and purchasing his book I departed the bar with my friends, with his book in hand. From start to finish, Thomas's book kept me smiling, frowning, laughing, and pouting all at the same time. The variations of his personal expierences and interactions with his various friends and family inside and out of the Big Apple kept me turning page after page. His personal stories of his parents, his amusing insights into the lineage of mice, and his responses to snot-nosed children keep you wanting to read more! During all of this, Thomas teaches us we can all be fabulous if we put our minds to it. It may not be about putting on make-up, finding the perfect scarf or broach, or wearing the shoes, but it's about having a good time. Thomas goes out, he laughs, he parties, he's himself. Well.. he's Demanda, but.. more about that when you read the book. I would NOT suggest this as a bedtime reader, I spent numerous nights becoming inhebriated and turning page after page as if I were under some sort of spell! )

A quick, exciting, and entertaining little read. I couldn't put it down. Looks wonderful on the coffee table, too.
