About the Author

Kearen Enright, Author/Illustrator "Don't Waste Your Wishes" and "Quarry Story". Ms. Enright wrote "Don't Waste Your Wishes" to help her son with feelings of loss, after losing his favorite toy, a little green dragon. "Quarry Story" is a history of quarries in her little town in Connecticut, which largely influenced how New York City is recognized today. Additionally, Kearen is an Illustrator of "The Great CT Caper" a collaborative effort by The Connecticut Humanities/The Center of the Book to promote literacy in Connecticut: twelve chapters, by twelve authors, and twelve illustrators. She has also illustrated several books by self-published authors. Kearen's latest project "Let's Save Some Bunnies" is coming soon. It is the first book in a series of children's books about helping injured and orphaned wildlife. She has been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for more than 20 years. Kearen was featured in a short biography segment for a Connecticut Public Television's "All Things Connecticut". Her art can be seen in several galleries throughout Connecticut, and at www.kearen.net
