Art comes to life as Doodles uses his exceptional Wizartry skill to hunt for the prized artifact that holds the key to Inner Earth. But there is a detective who is convinced that Doodles is the actual thief. Doodles enlists the help of his old and new friends, including his unique sidekick Boogly. Will Doodles recover the stolen artifact or will the malicious Mr. Derringer outwit him?

Although this new novel is a standalone book, Bernstein is also the author of two previous popular novels about Doodles: When Art and Magic Collide (2014) and Doodles Lanhorn and the Quest to Save Inner Earth (2016).

cute and imaginative. doodles is a great role model to kids as he solves the mystery with creativity and hope. he proves that even a kid can solve big problems, as long as his friends are there to back him up along the way.

Doodles is a book for children ages 8 - 13 with a creative heart. It follows a boy named Doodles as he juggles his average boring school life, his final exams as he masters wizartry (an adorable portmanteau of “wizard” and “art”) .... and solving the mysterious theft of an ancient artifact before he takes the blame! Though it’s the third book in the series, I didn’t have to read the others to follow what was going on in this one. Doodles is brave, strong and clever when he needs it most. With the help of his friends, he can accomplish anything. I wish this book was around when I was in middle school. Doodles is the hero we deserve!
