Overview

A truth or dare game. A mutual desire for erotic discovery.

Investment broker Abigail Douglas has got it all, but Abby-the woman-longs for a secret affair, a playmate who knows nothing about her high-powered business world, and Zac Bordino might just be the man. He's mysterious and sexy-just right for Abby's walk on the wild side-but very soon she finds that she wants more, and his mysterious, evasive nature makes her curious. Is there more to this sexy, entrepreneurial club owner than meets the eye? And why does she suddenly feel as if her every move is being watched?

Zac Bordino is perplexed when he realizes that the woman managing his business investments is the same woman he's having an affair with. She's pretending to be a little nobody out for a good time, and because she's a red hot number he plays along, cautiously observing her to get to the truth. From high-powered offices in London to pulse-pounding nightclubs in Paris, they find an insatiably perfect match in business and in pleasure. But when Zac begins to fall for Abby, he has to decide whether to reveal the secret link between them, or try to win her heart first.

Editorial Reviews

The Barnes & Noble Review
Saskia Walker makes her erotic novel debut with this contemporary story of London investment adviser Abby Douglas, who takes no prisoners, either in business or in her personal life. Sex is her hobby, and she plays by her own rules -- no rules, no commitments. Still, she's tired of men being intimidated by her job, so when she meets a handsome courier in the elevator, she pretends to be a receptionist. Of course, he's really a rich playboy who's started to manage his mother's foundation, and she's about to be handed that account, but they don't know that for a while. So the secrets and the games begin -- kinky nightclubs, hot sex in back alleys, a torrid weekend in Paris. Will the two dare reveal their true selves -- and will the lack of mystery bring their romance to a halt? Ginger Curwen

Meet the Author

Award winning British author Saskia Walker first dreamed of writing her own stories when she discovered a handful of romance novels stashed away in her school library. An avid reader, she lapped up the fun, the adventures, and the life-affirming emotion of these stories, but always felt dismay when the bedroom door closed the reader out. She vowed that if she ever had the chance to pursue her dream, all the passion would be right there on the page.

Saskia finally began writing seriously in the late 1990s. By that time she'd traveled the world, got herself a BA in Art History, a Masters in Literature and the Visual Arts, and she'd worked in all manner of diverse careers—but the stories in her head simply had to be written. Her first erotic short story was signed in '97 and since then she has had many novel and novella publications, and her work has appeared in over one hundred anthologies including Best Women's Erotica, The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica, and the Black lace Wicked Words series. Her erotica has also been featured in several international magazines including Cosmo, Penthouse, Bust, and Scarlet. Saskia writes across genres, but always with the passion right there on the page! Her novel, DOUBLE DARE, received the Passionate Plume award for the Best Contemporary Erotic Romance of 2006. RAMPANT and THE JEZEBEL were both nominated for RT Magazine Reviewers' Choice Awards.

Saskia lives in the north of England—close to the beautiful, windswept landscape of the Yorkshire moors—with her real life hero, Mark. Mark supports her work through all its ups and downs, and somehow manages to keep her sane and grounded when fiction threatens to take over.

in this book the main charactor never meets with any kind of difficulty everything always just goes her way and works out perfectly. Which made the whole story kind of boring and drab. you would think that in every other book that you read and the main character is always faced with trials and hard ships and you just wish that everything could work out perfectly with out all the bad stuff. well in reality it makes for a really bad story and this book proves it. the sex was pretty good but other than that i was bored out of my mind. i had to force myself to finish it hoping it would get better, which it didnt.
