Double Exposure (Exposure Series, #1) by Elizabeth Goddard

Exposed and on the run . . .

Tara is an epidemiologist who is investigating an illness in an African village when mercenaries bring more death. She barely escapes with her life. What she witnesses terrifies her and she flees, taking refuge where no one will find her until she knows whom she can trust.

When ex-military photographer Grant McCall arrives on the scene, he knows Tara is wary. But he can’t reveal that he’s working undercover to learn who’s behind the carnage in Africa. An image surfaced that exposed the truth—The epidemiologist believed dead had survived, like a ghost image in a double exposure on film exposed to light.

The killers will stop at nothing to find the woman who witnessed their crimes. But even more deadly is the illness to which she was exposed.

(Double Exposure is included in the Targeted for Danger collection.)

Double Exposure. Elizabeth Goddard Dr Tara Blackburn fled Africa after witnessing the senseless murder of the village people by her own mentor from Who World health organization. She runs for her life finding refuge at Arctic wolves sanctuary. Grant McCall poses as a photojournalist in order to gain her trust and save the world. They soon find them selves on the run, her life in danger and in need of a protector. Can they protect the world from this deadly virus? Read this fast paced novella to find the answer. I give Double Exposure by Elizabeth Goddard 5 stars. It was Action packed, fast paced and brought much needed attention to the plot of endangered wolves.

This novella was fast paced and full of danger! The author kept me guessing right up to the end. I loved the setting of the wolf sanctuary and the frantic race to stay alive. The characters were interesting and likable. This is another enjoyable novella that I read as a part of the Targeted for Danger collection. I would definitely recommend this collection (or the individual books) to fans of romantic suspense.

Tara just wants to save people. It's why she became a scientist! She wants to go to 3rd world countries and find dangerous epidemics and then discover cures for them. This time she finds herself in Africa with a good team but one night everything unravels as the small village she is in is decimated by some dangerous men. She was running for her life so she got away but when she creeps back to observe what is happening, she is shocked to see who is leading the band of killers! She knows and trusts this could he do this to this village and these sweet people? She finds a way back to America over several days and ends up in Oregon at a Wolf Sanctuary and knows that if those men find her, she'll die. Suddenly a man, Grant, comes out of nowhere one night and tells her they have to run away from the sanctuary! He might be a bad guy OR a good guy, she doesn't know! There's an explosion and she decides to trust him for a little bit as they go on the run! As I said, this story is a winner! It's very fast pace and keeps the reader engaged the whole time. You want to keep reading to find out how everything turns out. Tara and Grant were very good characters and balanced each other well. I liked the ending and the pace of the story. Although it was a novella, the author wrapped up the story well without rushing it!

What can I say, other than Wow! I so loved this book. This was such a wonderful combination of sitting on the edge of your seat suspense as well as a Romance all tied into a super package. Then to add the inspirational thread and you have a fantastic book. I can't say enough as to how great it was. I will want to read this one again.
