From bestselling author Erin Huss comes another "laugh-out-loud funny" (Readers' Favorite Five Star Review) Cambria Clyne Mystery. A #1 Amazon Bestseller in Cozy Mystery & Amateur Sleuth categories!

Since taking the job of an on-site apartment manager, single-mom Cambria Clyne's life has been one wild ride. Streaking residents, a corpse in the dumpster, rogue parrots—she has seen it all. Or so she thinks.

When the manager of the apartment building next door, Violet Pumpkin, goes missing, Cambria steps in to help run the property and aid in the investigation. The problem is, the more Cambria digs, the more she discovers Violet had been anything but honest in her dealings and there are more suspects than Cambria has fingers. The shady pizza delivery guy, the stressed property owners, the drunken rooftop walker, the mysterious Clint Eastwood look-alike lurking around, or one of the angry residents who received rental increases the day before Violet vanished. Of course, there's still the business of doing her own job, parenting an outspoken three-year-old, and choosing between the two men in her life. Cambria is in over her head—not that that's ever stopped her before!

Will Cambria find Violet before it's too late, or will she be the next apartment manager to go missing?

This book is one fun read! Cambria has so much going on, I honestly don't know how she functions (she does seem awfully stressed and forgetful at times). There's the crazy and nosy tenants of the apartments she manages, prospective tenants who are a bit shady, people creeping around on the balconies, and then a missing apartment manager! Things just don't add up, which sends Cambria in circles trying to figure it all out. She's also got her baby-daddy saying things he shouldn't, and her boyfriend who has no idea how close the ex is. Such drama! It was great fun to read about though!

Cambria Clyne has a messy, chaotic life many of us can identify with. Luckily, I don't share Cambria's misfortune of finding dead bodies and managing crazy apartment residents, but I can certainly laugh at these messes! The second of the series Double Fudge & Danger serves up another helping of laughs and who-dunnits.

In Double Fudge & Danger Cambria Clyne's life as an apartment manager continues its ditsy journey through mayhem. The apartment manager for the complex next door to Cambria's has gone missing. With an overflowing bathtub, an open window, etc., Cambria is very concerned about Violet's survival. The story sparkles with zany apartment dwellers as Cambria plunges headlong into the case. You will not want to miss this mystery.

Double Fudge & Danger is a funny story with quirky and entertaining characters and a mystery to solve that keeps your attention to the end. Cambria Cylne is a property manager of a forty unit apartment complex in Los Angeles and another one in Burbank. She and her three year old daughter, Lilly, live on site in the LA complex and have an extended family of residents that is always on hand to help watch Lilly while Cambria is off solving mysteries or management problems. Her friend Amy is in New York City competing in a dance competition. If she makes it to the end, Cambria and a guest will get to go see the finale. In the midst of watching the competition, Cambria has an emergency call that takes her to the neighboring complex to check out an emergency water leak because the property manager, Violet, in MIA. She also has a call at her complex that someone is trying to break in a unit. Never a dull moment. Cambria feels that it is important to solve Violet's disappearance and she throws herself into the investigation. Her police detective boyfriend Chase is out of town on business but his partner, Hampton, is on the case. Cambria is so helpful giving Hampton clues that she discovers in between dealing with her own "circus" and Violet's "circus." Lilly's father or as Cambria calls him her baby daddy, Tom, was a one night stand but loves his daughter and helps out with Lilly, both monetarily and physically. This book is my first of the series but I didn't have a problem following along with the story and the author does a good job at background information. The characters are so hilarious and eccentric but expect some danger before it is all over and mysteries are solved. Cambria is a funny but confused person. She knows how to pick boyfriends. Both Tom and Chase are "tens." She wanted Tom to love her and marry her for so long that she gave up. Now Chase is in the picture and things are so much better when he is around. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book because I think she will have some decisions to make. I received a complimentary ARC from the publisher. All opinions are mine only.
