I love all of this author's books and have read them in chronological order. They are stand-a-lone stories but I think you will get the most enjoyment from this one if you start at least as far back as the 'Boomtown' series. That being said, to each her own, you will enjoy it nontheless. cjbevil

When I started reading from this author the stories were a great read and like 200 pages long for $3.99.. but as new ones come out in the series the stories become less interesting, shorter, & has countable errors. This story is only 180 pages, which is expensive for $3.99.

Start with the very first series and have anticipated each and every book that follows. Each series leads into another series. They can stand alone but it is just really enjoyable to see each care to grow and interact with other characters and bringing in more intricate family in the endings

5 star The story has laughs, pain, murder, suspense, love, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Center Mass (Code 11-KPD Swat) This is Georgia and Nico’s story. Nico wanted Georgia for years but she lost part of her family and was raising her siblings.  Now she is back home and he will do everything to catch and keep her.  When danger comes for him can he protect her and stay alive at the same time?  Or is it the end of the line for them?  Or can they come out of all the danger in the end together?  Will they both live through the danger that is coming for him?   I loved these characters and also the side characters. There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

but the last few seem to be hurried a little bit. Double Tap is second in the SWAT series a spin off of her Dixie Wardens Series, and the MC series before Dixie. They all are connected a little, each series is connected more so within each other. This nook book is about 180 nook pages, plus a sneek peek of the next in the SWAT series. This story had some serious situations that brought tears to your eyes. Nico was a strong character and Georgia was also a strong female too, they were perfect for each other. Beside their age differences at the beginning to get thru, other issues soon get in their way too. The one thing I was disappointed about was Georgia never once said she "loved Nico" , never told him straight out that she loved him. Nico did repeatedly, which I found weird. Maybe this is where the rushed comes in?? Ms. Vale does awesome job with her books. She publishes them a month apart which is great, but I feel the last few leave out some details etc. All her books are great I would recommend them all. Just try to read each of the three series in their order, that would be a little bit better read, but not a must.***

As always Ms. Vale gives us a fun, sexy read .  Nico and Georgia's story was a bit more dark than her usual fare but still a must buy.

I truly enjoy reading Ms Vale's books. Her charcters are fun and the story always moves quickly. While I must admit that I enjoyed reading Center Mass a little bit more, it doesn't take away from the fact that Nico and Georgia's story was excellent. I would defiantly recommend reading this book!

Disjointed, poorly written and an overall waste of time.
