I learned a few pieces of informative information from ¿Double Your Brain Power¿ by Jean Marie Stine, so I would say it was worth the $12.99. I would not pay more than this for the book. Most important thing learned was how to double my reading power by reading phrase by phrase instead of word by word; however, this book was filled with many common sense and meaningless brain power doubler exercises¿had some value but no earth shattering discovery. Also, the book did not get in depth on certain memory techniques, such as using the Loci System (associating ideas to image). In my Opinion just spend $28.99 for ¿The Photographic Mind¿ by Dane Spotts. I¿ve read about 70 pages out of 248 and have learned more than reading all of ¿Double Your Brain Power¿. I had to wait about 2 months for 'The Photographic Mind'¿I was a little pissed about this, but it is worth the wait.
