About the Author

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a book in my hand…or at the very least within reaching distance. My shelves are stocked with old and new friends, waiting to be read again. Some day when retirement is mine, I will do just that. For now, because my love for reading the written word is only slightly eclipsed by a desire to write, I knew I had to put fingers to keyboard and do the thing I love most. Teaching college level computer basics and software programs, and owning my own software development company opened up a world of diverse experiences for me. This led to designing illustrations for work projects and more recently, creating characters for my children’s stories. I have a wonderfully supportive husband, a daughter and son, both of whom I am deeply proud, a daughter-in-law who is beautiful inside and out, two grandsons that I adore, and a huge extended family. It is for them and the inspiration they give me that my first published children’s story has found its way onto the page and into bookstores. I plan to continue writing a long as I am able.
