In "Dr. Chuckle and Missed Her Ride," quipster Paul Frishkoff takes readers on a fantastic romp through history, pop culture and the arts that leaves no Ra-pun-zel unturned, from the gassy emanations of ancient pharaohs and Greeks to the love lives of Jack the Ripper and Genghis Khan. Malapropisms, collected over many years, draw readers into a priceless parallel reality, where the costumer is always right, the nation is plaqued with social problems and rappists are tried - and trying. Read slowly and savor. Many happy mirthdays to you.
